RE: (meteorobs) weather site for finding clear areas



In North America you can have satellite image that are refreshed at a rate
of about 30 minutes. Here you have links to live satellite image (visible
image : during daylight) and (IR image : during day or night). Hope that can
help to find a clear sky :

Greetings all,

For those in North America looking for holes in the clouds, the following
website by Environment Canada may be of use to you.  It covers both Canada
and the U.S.

Cloud forecast (visible) for astronomical purposes:

There are many other weather sites out there, of course, but some of you may
not be aware of this one.
