Re: (meteorobs) Any observing results from Monday MORNING (17/18 Nov)?

Not much from lower California, Lew.

My wife and I, and a couple of our guests, watched
'briefly' from Walker Pass (el. 5,000 feet), in the
southern Sierra Nevadas, from 9:24 UT until 11:00UT. I
counted only 10 Leonids, and 7 non-leonids. We decided
to save our strength for tonight..dot besides, we had to
be up makin' breakfast at 7am. If we're gonna suffer a
sleepless night, it'll hopefully be for more than a
hand full of mooned meteors.

Limiting Mag was +3.0, no obstructions, and I kinda
went back and forth, facing generally Sirius to facing
generally the Big Dipper.

Watching from among the Joshua Trees was certainly a
joy, however. Now, off to a nap...
