Re: (meteorobs) Metoer shower a bust, but we did get a Slashdot Story



Remember that the shower radiant (in this case the constellation of Leo) has to be up (in your sky) in order for you to see a meteor shower or storm from your location.  Additionally, the higher the radiant, the more meteors you will see.  The predicted storm near 11pm EST should have been visible from European sites but NOT North American sites.
 
We here in North America have yet to see the second predicted peak near 5:30am EST.  I'm just now making preparations to view this one...Good luck to all!
