Subject: Leonids from UK

Greetings all...

4.40am here in Cumbria, north of England, and I've just got back in after
watching the Leonids.. perishing cold, biting wind, lantern-bright Moon blinding
in the west, but well worth the effort: saw maybe a couple of hundred Leonids
during the session, many 1st mag or brighter, a scattering left brief trains
behind too. As for the predicted 04.06 peak? Right on time, a real flurry of
activity then, before a very rapid die-back...

So, over to all you good people in the US now. Good luck to you!

Stu
