   We had periods of broken clouds, but mostly clear conditions for the
Leonid maximum, which made for fair viewing conditions, at Screech Owl 
Hill Observatory, Mountain Meadows, West Virginia. The rates near the
peak were comparable to last year, but the brightness of the Leonids was
less. Special thanks go to my wife, Lynne Gilliland who was my time keeper.
Below is only the hourly rates. A five minute bin and one minute bin summary
for the hours of 9 to 10, and 11 to 12 UT will follow later.
