(meteorobs) Additional Leonid Meteor Shower Observational Reports from Nelson County, Virginia



Over the past few days, I have managed to gather some data from some of
my students and one of my teaching Comrades, at Nelson County High
School.  They did meteor counts and enjoyed what they saw very much. 
This is fairly raw data, yet most agreed that they noticed the greatest
activity between 1040 and 1050 UT.  Their observations and meteor counts
for the night of 18/19 November 2002 are as follows:

Observer -        Laverne Castillo (Teacher/She filled in for me while I

Two other students of mine saw the following:

        Leslie Bell observed between 1030 to 1100 UT and saw 160 Meteors.
        Kirby White observed between 0858 to 1000 UT and saw about 300
Meteors.

Many other students made observations of this Grand Event, but
contributed very little in the way of useable data.
