Hi again folks...
The sun produced a coronal mass ejection about a day ago, which is expected
to impact Earth's magnetic field at around 08:30 UTC, 27 November 2002
(about 9:30 PM NZDST on Wednesday evening).
As always, there is no guarantee of auroral activity being visible from
mid-latitudes, but so far, the numbers look good.
So if the weather treats you kindly, get out to a dark spot, and look south
after dark. (aurora are usually strongest around local midnight, so if you
don't need sleep, stay up!)
A note for northern hemisphere observers: you need to look north rather than
south.

Good luck!
