Notes:
1) The sky here began the evening partly cloudy, but by the time I began this
secession the sky was clear, and it was cold!
2) All of the SPO reported radiated from inside AURIGA. I'm still learning here, is this
also an active shower?
3) The -4 magnitude meteor reported traveled approximately 60 degrees across the
sky from east to west at an altitude of about 55 to 60 degrees. this meteor
presented a very long persistent train with debris in it. the meteor was orange in
color. the last 15 degrees of travel were very exciting as the train was full of debris.
There was a large flare as the meteor dissappeared.
4) The next 5 days in this area are forecast to be cloudy with rain and snow in the
higher elevations so all I can do is hope they missed on another foercast, although
we do need the moisture here.
CLEAR SKIES TO ALL'
