Hi, list:

I've just gotten some information from the International Planetarium society
about an event called National Dark-Sky Week, scheduled for April 1-8.
Originated by a high school girl who is an amateur astronomer, National
Dark-Sky week is now endorsed by the International Dark-Sky Association, the
Astronomical League, and the American Astronomical Society.  The web site is
<www.nationaldarkskyweek.htmlplanet.com>.  Seems like this is a good chance
to tell folks about something we all find important.
