(meteorobs) observation 07-08/03/2003

Hi!

Near-to-perfect conditions last late night, so I went
out after I had already put up with the idea that there
was too much haze.

Greetings

Daniel Gruen

all coordinates in mm from the lower left corner of the map
 * didn't plot #21 (was still busy with #20), it might have
been a VIR, but I'm too unsure
~ it was maybe the fastest meteor I've seen yet

Comments:
After there was a lot of haze in the early evening, it cleared up
pretty well and I had almost perfect conditions (5.5mag is a very
good lm for my area). This might be one reason why I saw quite a
surprising lot of meteors, some of 4.0mag or higher, which I usu-
ally don't notice. Another surprise to me is the fact that of all
those 27 meteors I plotted since February no single one can be
traced back to the Virginid (Antihelion) radiant.
