Re: (meteorobs) SARS Virus

Hi, Marco and all,

Indeed, the epidemic situation had been rather serious here in Beijing. But it seems to be getting better now. Some strong measures against the spread of population is taken, e.g. one of the two gates of our yard has been blocked, for escaping strangers' entering. And my travel to attend this year's Intel International Science and Engineering Fair in Ohio was also cancelled.

Traditionally, sanitation conditions in countryside of China was really poor. This is mainly because the traditional habit of farmers and the impoverishment. As I know, at some places in North China, people live, eat, and sleep just beside dirty pigsty. But I believe after the SARS epidemics this time, in the countryside of China the traditionally unsanitary custom of life and feeding will gradually be changed.

Clear skies,
Huan
