(meteorobs) JBO observation at Xinglong, China (ZHUJI, June 28/29)

Hi, everyone,

Here is Jin's report for the night. It seemed the number of his sporadic meteors was higher, too. Equivalently sporadic hourly rate of 44.
We just have a discussion about this. Jin pointed that the weather in Xinglong is somewhat special, as he used to have a comparison of his own reports with others' on our meteorobs list, and those from observing site in Southern China. At Xinglong, even under very bad weather conditions, e.g. limiting magnitude of 1, the milky way is still visible. In contrast, the milky way can never be seen even with LM of better than 5 in downtown of Beijing. In addition, our visual observations was synchronous with video observations. Some meteors were recorded with both techniques. So, however, I think there's no mistake or error in these visual observations.

Comments: A sporadic meteor has a lack of the record of its magnitude. So the number in period summary table is one more than that in the magnitude distribution.
