(meteorobs) speaking of green



One of the most unusual meteors I have ever seen was a -5 or so stationary 
Perseid fireball in my backyard in Providence RI in the late 60's or early 70's. 
Still remember it coming at me looking like the Star Trek Klingnon fireball 
weapon. Wish the Perseids would produce another memorable one. It did not 
happen last year.
