AWAITING YOUR URGENT RESPONSE
I am Mrs. Maryam Abacha, wife of Late General Sanni
Abacha, the ex-military Head of State of Nigeria who
died on the 8th of June 1998 of heart problems. I am
contacting you because of my need to deal with
person
whom my family and I have had no previous business
relationship.
Since the death of my husband, my family has been
subjected to all sorts of harrassment and
intimidation
with lots of negative reports emanating from the
government and the press about my husband. The
present government has also ensured that our Bank
Accounts are frozen and all assets seized.
Furthermore, my living eldest son is in detention by
the Nigerian Government for more interrogation about
my husband's assets and some vital documents
following
the recent discovery of my husband's Swiss Bank
Account in which the huge sum of US$700 Million and
DM450 Million was lodged.
It is in view of this that I seek your cooperation
and
assistance for the transfer of the sum of thirty-four
Million United States Dollars only (US$34,000,000)
to
your custody, this money is the very last of my
family
fund in my possession and control. Permit me here to
inform you that this money, which for security
reasons has been defaced and carefully packaged in
two
metal boxes, is presently deposited in a vault with
a
security Company outside my country, Nigeria.
I also wish to emphasize here that arrangements have
been put in place to release these boxes to your
custody through the Security Company if we could
both(You and I) reach some uderstanding through my
lawyer. Immediately I hear from you, I shall get my
family lawyer, Barrister EDWARD KAPPO to contact you
for details and all necessary information, as I am
still under house arrest and being watched by the
government. However, be rest assured that this
business is 100% safe, only remain sincere with us.
Conclusively, we have agreed to offer you 25% of the
total sum for your assistance while our 75% is to be
held on trust by you until we can decide on a
suitable
business investment in your country upon our freedom
soonest.
Please reply urgently and treat with absolute
confidentiality for obvious reasons.
