Daniel,

You should know beforehand why you are doing this before spending two hours
analyzing your data. I cannot answer for you, but I know why I continue to
do it. I like to "discover" what my results were from each session plus
sharing my findings with others. I also enjoy having a permanent record of
each observing session.

By plotting this time of year you probably missed more meteors than you saw.
May I suggest that you forgo plotting during the next two weeks as you will
then witness much more activity. If you must plot then plot those meteors
that appear to be sporadic as the radiant positions of the major showers
this time of year are well known.
