588 sporadic meteors
Total : 1372 meteors (amongst them 6
fireballs)
Some remarks:
Perseids
Activity slightly rise up from 3 to 12
meteors/hour. A bright -3 was seen on 3 august.
delta Aquaris north
During whole period rising activity (1 to 5 an
hour). Brightest meteor : -1.
delta Aquarids south
Rising activity till 30 july (from 5 to 20 an
hour), then a decline in activity (11 an hour on 3 august). Special attention on
29 july between 23:40 and 00:55 UT. During teff 1.20 hour I counted 36
delta Aquarids! This is to much for normal activity. I don't know what
happened here. Sky was cristal clear that night and rates before and after this
period were normal (14 and 17 an hour). I noticed this high activity immediately
in the field and also the decline after this period. I will examine this data
carefully the coming days.
A fine -6 Aquarid was seen on 31
july.
iota Aquarids
At the end of this period some iota's were
seen.
Capricornids
At first nice activity, up to 6 an hour. But after
28/29 july low activity. some nice fireballs seen.
This observations will be sent to NAMS, IMO and
DMS.
Best wishes,
Koen
