(meteorobs) August 09/10, 2003 meteor observation from Slovenia

On Saturday night we had some problems with clouds but we managed to
observe anyway. The first period was chaotic with clouds rolling in and
out, resulting in a few breaks. At 02h30m local it cleared completely and
stayed so until dawn. Also, the Moon set at 3h so the last period was free
from moonlight.
The meteor activity was fair with 37 meteors in just over 2 hours teff.
The majority were the Perseids (21 seen), 3 were the Aquarids and 13
sporadic. There were no fireballs this night, the brightest meteor was a
-2m Perseid in Taurus at 01h46m UT.

Clear skies!
Javor.
