REMARKS:
Hello,
First off, I need to report a fireball I saw while heading to my
truck=20
from outside my home before this session. It was a bright -4.0
Magnitude, Or=
ange=20
colored PER at 0748UT. This was seen from my observing site but I
wasn't ob
serving at the time.
At 1011UT I was startled by an approaching squeak & click
mechanical=20
sounding rhythm. It scared me because I'm alone in the middle of the
desert=20=
where I=20
can see for many miles. Well, the approaching squeaking-clicking
rhythm got=20
louder and louder and suddenly this "thing" swooped out of the night
sky at=20=
me=20
and continued on it's way.=20
I said, "HOLY %$#$" just as two smaller versions of this bird-bat
thing=20
followed closely behind. Baby bird-bat things.
If it was a bat... it was the size of a large owl. I don't know
what the=20
heck it was but I do know that I will be armed with a golf club from
now on,=
=20
maybe a 4 wood, just in case it tries to carry me off in the
future.=20
Clear skies & FORE!
-SID!
