Comments: On my hiking holiday through half of the Black
Forest (it took me nearly 5 days to walk about 100km, if
you're not trained that's quite enough) I was only once
able to enjoy the darker skies there (usually I was too
tired). Conditions were not perfect though, as I observed
from the backyard of our hotel and there were some lights.
Maybe outside on a mountain and further away from the city
of Freudenstadt it would have been better.
Some of the Sporadics might have been Aquarids, but I didn't
take plotting equipment with me (I had to carry all of my
luggage by foot) so I just counted Sporadics and Perseids.
Please note: d = degrees
