Re: (meteorobs) Orionids from East GA and Central VA



Felix,
         The fireball left the radiant and headed down towards Canis Major
through Monoceros, so this would have been to my south and east.  Looks like
the times for this particular fireball are off, also, mine was logged at
6:43 UT, the last meteor during my first hour. Probably the r values were
high during this interval while you and I were both out, it looks that way
from my report.

    With a dark backyard, I'm sure you'll be able to squeeze in some
observing soon, Felix.  Maybe last night is a start? I'm not willing to say
the rates were *that* low here since I missed the best two hours before
dawn.
