Remarks:
Hello,
I've been reading all the observation reports while away and was hoping to be back home in time for the Orionid peak. Close but no cigar. Regardless, it is great to be home in the Mojave desert after 6 weeks off from meteor observing due to crunch time at work & travel. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to stay out long last night(1.00 Teff) but I will be observing more often now that my work load has let up a bit.
Meteor #10 was a brilliant beauty off to my south and made a nice grand finale. I recorded it as Orange but it really went to red... perhaps because it was low to the horizon.
Clear skies to you all.
