To the enthusiasts,
I started my observation on the lunar eclipse at 20:56h (17:56 UT). I had a complete Moon view from the north and from the east, so I could catch all Moon eclipse phases very clearly. During all the observation I also could get a bright clear sky, no clouds, no rains and no winds.
Observer: Marco Valois
Local: Recife, PE BRA
Coordinations: 34º Lat - 52º E - 8º - 03S
Total hours of observation: 3h (TEFF)
No intended intervals
Equipments: Binoculars
___________________
At 17:56 UT The eclipse covered almost 10% of the moon surface
Observations: The sky was clear, there was no clouds, no rains and no winds during all the observation time.
___________________
At 6:56 UT The eclipse covered 50% of the Moon surface.
Observations: some cloudies.
During these denses cloudies portions I could observe through binoculars some of the Orion, Taurus, Gemini and lots of faint stars (-1.5 mg).
___________________
At 7:55 UT I had a total cloud sky that covered the eclipse. This was the hour when I had the complete Moon surface covered.
The cloudies remained until 7:16 UT supposed time that lasted the complete Moon eclips
e phase.
____________________
At 8:00 UT the Eclipse finally begun its return point. At this time there was some dense cloudies, but didn't interrupt the moon full observation.
____________________
At 8:07 UT 10% of the moon was uncovered.
____________________
At 8:51 UT the Moon was almost completly uncovered showing 10% of its brightness. Also at this point I observed some portions of dense cloudies from east and from north. The Moon was showing an angle of 45% to the earth.
____________________
At 9:02 UT, The Lunar eclipse end.
____________________
The Moon showed a -8.5 mg during all its phases. Interesting to mention that when it was up to have its last cap uncovered, some dense clouds covered the Moon, which showed a very nice show of *red clouds* in plain midnight! It was almost like sunrise rains at the first morning lights.
Marco Valois :)
