(meteorobs) November 20/21, 2003 meteor (and aurora) observation
Hi All,
The main goal this night was to observe the aurora which is rarely
seen from our country. It was the best aurora I have ever seen.
Some photos of the event can be seen at <http://www.orion-
drustvodot si/MBKTeam/sunrora/20031120.htm>.
I observed meteors during lower activity of the aurora. I had some
breaks during higher activity of the aurora. The most active shower
were the Taurids with seven members seen. The Leonids were
active as well, but only a single Leonid was seen during my Teff
(the radiant was quite low at all times). I also saw one Alpha
Monocerotid and nine sporadic meteors.
Clear skies!
Javor.
