This url has been posted to the RASC Victoria
Centre web page in order to recruit volunteer
interviewers for a west coast fireball patrol. Anyone
interested, in British Columbia and bordering U.S.

They supply you with their camera, mounting, plastic
cover, cables, etc. Free. You won't need yours.
Contact [Sandia researcher's name deleted - pending
permission].
I just found a good place to mount my camera and hope
to start installing the software today. It'll probably
take awhile to actually install the camera on a pole.
I need to buy some parts for a platform,
and probably a long cable--30' in my case.

will handle your software questions.

for Participants
Anyone in N. Calif. around Sacramento interested in
joing the Sandia Meteor Network?
Myself and a friend currently belong but more
participants would be good. The basic requirement is
that you have a RedHat Linux OS available.
If you are not aware of this effort, contact me, and
I'll explain it.

A large fireball was spotted near Sacramento, CA
headed south just after sunset. It was widely reported
on various local radio stations. Anyone
know anything about it.
