(meteorobs) U.S. Atomic Travel Alarm Clock

November 29, 2003

Greetings Robert Lunsford and Fellow Meteor
Enthusiasts!

I hope everyone who had a Thanksgiving meal was
happily filled! We had Turkey & Rice with our
leftover turkey today with carrots, turnips, and
parsnips. It was stupendous!

In any event, I wanted to describe more about my
atomic clock to Bob Lunsford like I had mentioned.

It is from Sharper Image, set by radio signals linked
to the U.S. Atomic Clock, and is capable of
self-setting itself in four U.S. time zones. If you
don't drop it off a shelf like I did, it will also
light up with a simple press. Interestingly, it will
also give the temperature in both Fahrenheit and
Celsius, and the month and date. The clock runs on 2
AAA batteries, and again, I believe the price was $20
if I remember right.

Big and bright, rocky Geminids!
