Re: (meteorobs) Meteor Observation East GA 11- 29/30 -03
Hi Kim and all,
As usual, Kim is way ahead of me!! He outdid me again, too. Full
report to follow, quick summary:
Location: 6 miles north of St. Augustine, Florida Facing: NNW Sky cond:
clear, no obstruction
Data Method: pen and paper
0520 - 0626 UT Teff - 1.07 LM 6.3 1 ANT, 1 NPX, 1 Puppid/Velid 9
sporadics 12 total
0626 - 0726 UT Teff - 1.00 LM 6.3 1 ANT, 1 NPX, 1 MON 10 sporadics 13
total
Temp was around 40 degrees F with a heavy wind chill factor, blew right
through my sleeping bag. Almost got frost bite. Too darn cold for this
thin-blooded FL boy!
More later, Paul in N. FL
