Interesting how this world is a global one in certain aspects. The fact that you mentioned about a meteor that hit a car in NY, I also watched in my TV set here in Brazil some years ago. It was a big one(?). About the similar that is along this email dated from 1907. I'm sorry, but I haven't got any news about it.

My television station (News 12 Westchester) interviewed Michelle Knapp some years ago about the meteorite that hit the front of her car.  It happened in Peekskill, which is located in the northwest part of Westchester County, NY.
