(meteorobs) Late Observing Report from 20/21 November 2003 (Central Virginia)



Have had a chance today to go through some of my Observing Sheets and
realize that I did not report the short Observing Period that I had on
the night of 20/21 November of this year (OOPs).  Short and quick
synopsis report is as follows:

Date - 20/21 November 2003

Location - 14 miles NNE of Lynchburg, Virginia (rural outskirts of
Madison Heights-Monroe)

Observing Period - 0830 to 0900 UT (Official Session)

(Meteors Seen) - 10 Meteors Total

Casually spotted a 2nd Magnitude Taurid at 0205 UT (2105 EST)

(0830-0900 UT)
        Leo        1.0        Yellow             1 second Train
        Leo        4.0        
        Leo        0.0        Yellow              1.5 second Train
        Spor       4.0        
        Leo        3.0
        Spor       2.0        Yellow
        Leo        5.0        
        Spor       6.0
                          *Limiting Magnitude of 6.2 and 29 minutes of
effective observing time*

Casually spotted a 6th Magnitude Sporadic Meteor, just after 0900 UT.

Nothing further to report on this Observing Session.
