Please put any additional remarks, sketches, drawings, etc. below:
I was in my driveway where I usually observe from. I just received a
Celestron C60 f/15 refractor made by Vixen-very good optics, and i was trying
this little telescope. I use a milk crate to sit down on. It was very windy,
but clear, not very cold.

I'm looking through the ep, was looking toward Mars, westward, when I just so
happened to back away from the eyepiece. I immediately looked directly above,
90 degrees high, saw directly above me-an orangish-yellowish streak that came
from behind me, East, shoot overhead to the West. It lasted about 3-3.5
seconds, and was very fast, it did not make any noise. Definitely not fireworks.
It also did not seem to be way high above, in deep space. It was not a plane or
jet-it went by too fast and again, made no noise. It's not that it was low
flying, but just not way up in the sky. I could see it clearly, was pretty
surprised of course. If you have any questions, write to me. I was not sure
where to report this, so it is kind of late, but I did log in my Astronomy log
file that I keep.
