Hi;
About the Geminids....dot calls for almost always weather problems...The
weekend from 13-14 December was seriously
spoiled with severe frontal systems, strong winds...The week before
the geminid maximum was very cold with many clear nights...
Javor (MBK) ; maybe you can add these new laws of Murphy for meteor
observers ; especially for 2003 :
-"You will always enjoy clear skies when the moon is full. You
won't when it is new moon".
-"It will always be clear during the nights before the maximum from a
big meteor shower. The maximum night will be clouded out".
Dear meteor observers, this year I can offer you only a "one hour"
report from the maximum night. The rest was a complete "wash out" here in the
Belgium.
