(meteorobs) Observation December 25/26, 2003 from Slovenia

Hi All,

I also observed on Thursday night. This was the coldest night sofar
this winter with the temperatures at -12 C. Nonetheless I observed
for 3.5 hours.
The first hour was slow with only 4 meteors seen. All were sporadic.
The second hour was much better with 10 meteors. Thw brightest
meteor of the night appeared in this hour. It was a yellow
magnitude -1 Coma Berenicid.
The last 1.5 hours were so slow I am wondering what kept me
under the skies. There were 41 minutes without a single meteor
seen. And I was quite alert and not sleepy at all. The only Ursid
was seen during this period.

Clear skies and a Happy New Year!
Javor
