My compliments! That was a very sharp and helpful observation! Indeed, this
must be the moon (it is not visible in the RealPlayer version of the video,
but indeed very clear on the animated GIF you posted).
It confirms that the video is looking East-Northeast. The moon for Leon was
at azimuth 78 degrees (for 16:45 UTC), and an altitude of 22 degrees.
This confirms what we write on the DMS website (www.dmsweb.org): this cannot
be a Quadrantid, and it cannot move on a NW-SE trajectory. It also suggests
that the fireball was located over the Basque province.
