  it  started out round but as it dropped it became more cone shaped with a 
trail

  This is the second one I have seen in the last 5 months. On October 29, 2004 
my friend and I were driving east at approx 19:15 when we saw a large green 
fireball in the NE sky. The location was only a mile from our home and last 
night's sighting. It is so weird to see these, I have to report it to someone 
other than the weather man at KGW.
