Peter has answered this concerned poster very well. The only
points that I would add as our List Admin, are:
1) This list SHOULDN'T forward "binary attachments" - and so,
you should never *really* receive a virus via 'meteorobs'.
(But can I guarantee that our little freeware list server,
with my own PERL hacks in it, is absolutely invulnerable to
any virus or worm anywhere, no matter what? Sadly no... :>)
2) If you ever have an administrative question or concern like
this, please DO NOT POST IT TO THE ENTIRE LIST! It is pre-
cisely for questions like this that we have set up an email
address for you to use, to reach your Friendly List Elves:
owner-meteorobs@meteorobs.org
Please use that address (not the main list), for all future
inquiries about this topic.
And in the mean time, clear skies all!
