Appeared from the SE at an altitude of ~60 degrees above the horizon,
"descended" to about 50 degrees after traveling across ~20 degrees of the sky.
The fireball extinguished about five degrees below Jupiter in the sky. Location
of the observation is on the sidewalk in front of St. Stephen's Green, 223
Castro St. Mountain View, CA. The fireball was the brightest object visible in
the sky at the time. There were three other observers at this location who can
be reached for comment.
