Hi, Penny - well... my IMPRESSION is that I've seen reddish tinges both naked eye and with those 10x50 binoculars from the island in Puget Sound: but since I didn't LOG the red at the time, I can't say I saw it! :) Next time I'm under a dark sky, I'll take a last hard look at Orion, and get back to you with what I honestly find...
