Lew, The only recorded observation I have for this was done 10 years ago with my 10" f/6 at 48x and 73x - no filter. I had probably been observing for a little less than 10 years. Fairly large, moderately faint, round planetary. Easy object but no central star. Hint of central darker area with averted vision.
