David Malin's remarkable astrophotography is part of a public Exhibition
in my area this November... While browsing the site for the Exhibition,
I happened on the following stunning image of the entire asterism within
"Orion". Malin's doctored photo "smears" images of the stars in Ori, to
clearly show their various shadings. Exposure time was JUST long enough
to show an approximation of the stars and colors visible to the naked eye
from a really dark site. Most striking to me though: look at the vivid
and obvious color in M42!

This is a little off-topic, but considering our recent thread on colors,
and Penny's previous logs of naked-eye color in M42, it seemed apropros. :)
