Brandon eyepieces are certainly high quality (ASH owns a set) but I've used
the Clave Ploessls and Zeiss Abbe orthos and while I never compared them
directly to the Brandons (but I have to each other) I would rate both of
them superior to the Brandons, with the Zeis being the best of the three.
Pentax, Leica, Takahashi, and Nikon oculars are also considered to be among
the world's top planetary eyepieces.
