Auke, I browsed the AAVSO's list of recent results on the Web:

    http://www.aavso.org/quickname.stm

and found T Tau has been fairly stable around mag 10 for some months.


However, irrespective of the *star's* brightness, I will say that I've been
trying to view Hind's variable nebula all Winter, and last Winter as well, and
I have had no success! Does anyone else have a sighting to report of this
elusive - and quite possibly invisible to amateurs at the moment - object?
