Re: (IAAC) supernova in M88



The Supernova is at mag 14 now, well within the range of a 8 inch or greater
scope. The galaxy is at mag 10. The SN is probably imbeded in a gas cloud, and
there is some dimming of it from that means. Go and observ it, it will stay
bright for about a month, then fade, depending on the type of supernova. By the
way, you should use the "list", rather than the announce fpr these type of
discussions.
