Thanks for the comments, Scott. It is neat what "suboptimal" conditions will
sometimes show! Just as some details are NOT visible in the best photograph or
image, but may be seen by the eye and telescope, so too may some features only
be visible when skies aren't at their best! :)

BTW, I have an observation of M28 in Sgr from very DARK and CLEAR skies last
weekend, which also mentions one of these bizarre "dark lanes" lurking in the
core of the globular. Have others noted these features in their logs?
