(IAAC) NGC 188 - next special file of Ciel Extreme

Hi to all,

Next Ciel Extreme's (http://www.astrosurf.org/cielextreme) special file
will be published in early January 2000 (example on NGC 2261 at:
http://www.astrosurf.org/cielextreme/page185F.html).

Its target will be the open cluster NGC 188 located less than 4° from
Polaris in Cepheus (00h47.9m, +85°15'), an interesting object for
instruments larger than 3-inches (maybe less?).

The readers will be interested in all the historical or astrophysical
background you know of and in any observation (written description,
drawing, photos, ccd images) you may provide of this object.

In order to achieve the best possible result, our deadline is early December.

Thanks in advance and clear skies,
Carpe noctem, yann.
