     A look at SIMBAD suggests it is not known to vary.  Just as a guess, it
probably _is_ variable visually, but only by a few percent, not something
that would be obvious visually.  It is certainly a suitable target for 
photoelectric or CCD observation.  It's about mag. 11, so shouldn't hard to
find.  The position is:  18 26 15  -14 50.9 (2000).
     By the way, it seems that in the last few months it has been possible
to use SIMBAD without having an account.  Have a look starting at:
