(IAAC) Some galaxy reports

Lew,
I have sent off some galaxy observation reports to mark the end of our
deepsky observing season up here at 55 north. The moon occupies the last of
the darksky slots now. Last night the moon set at 01:30 UT leaving about an
hour of darkness before the dawn twilight set in. Sadly the cloud came in as
the moon set. I did observe a nice galaxy, NGC 5921, in Serpens before
moonset but failed to find the globular cluster NGC6535 even with my sky
computer. Actually I think I did see it because there was a curious group of
three faint stars visible in the right place. Possibly the unresolved
globular was too faint to show above the sky background. Still I got a
wonderful view of M13 while realigning the sky computer. I also finished
filling in my census form while waiting for the cloud to clear.
I will try to prepare some more report
Best wishes
Nick
