Well, sorry to continue this thread despite it's relegation to another forum, but as an Artist myself (Watercolour Landscapes) I must say that anyone who can so accurately represent the night sky with pencil and paper as Sue has done is as good an Artist as any Ive seen!!, the very nature of representational art is to convey an image of what is actually seen, and in that context it cannot be argued that such work is not art, I wish I could do half as well!!

I have to agree with you.  It seems to me one could also argue that
portraits are not art either if one followed Lew's logic.
