Re: (IAAC) NGC 7331 CCD Observation



In fact the galaxies around NGC7331 are not associated with it if you check 
the RV's. Nor are all of them edge on. From the DSS image NGC7337 appears 
close to face on. Often with faint galaxies you have to look quite hard to 
see what orientation they are.

If you try using one of the high end sky charting programs such as Guide, 
Megastar or SkyMap Pro then you can look at the galaxy information and it 
can be quite instructive as to what galaxies are associated.
