Description:
134X-NGC3132 appears as a small roundish spot with a faint central star.
It blinks moderately well with the O-III filter.
254X-NGCappears as an oval with a centeral star and a center area that is much
brighter than the background, the outer ring is bright and seems not very
diffuse.
508X-NGC3132 appears as an oval with a center star. The outer ring is bright
with direct viwsion with the Northern Quadrant being weak, The center star is
easily seen with direct vision and is decrnable even with the O-III filter in
place. The O-III filter increases the contrast somewhat, but at 508X the field
is pretty dark and NGC3132 is reasaonably contrasty with out the O-III filter.
