Description:
M14 was just visible as a tiny "pip" of light to averted vision, SE
of an unresolved haze of perhaps 3 to 4 stars mag. 8. This haze is
found in a line with the stars HD157950 (mag. 5) and HD158576 (mag.
7) in Oph, just 1 binocular field to the NE of HD158576. No detail!
