Description:
Tough to spot in averted vision, in a near line with beta and
gamma Lyr and beta Cyg (Albireo), M56 is just about half the
distance from gamma Lyr to beta Cyg. Visible intermittently
only, about 0.5o SE of the RED mag 6 star HD180450 in Lyr.
No obvious brightening toward the middle, but I did suspect
some concentration in particularly (hand-)steady moments.
